3-30-19: Tenant Vacates

The former Tenant Association Vice-President vacated today. He is the person who initially organized all tenants and demanded habitable conditions. We will miss him.

The stabilized tenant was paying high rent, had filed an overcharge complaint last year which has still not been resolved. It hasn’t even made it past the initial review process. Tenants who are paying high/market rate rent here vacate. For the same price, they can get a nicer apartment in a building where life, safety and health are not constantly at risk.

This makes 6 warehoused rent stabilized apartments now.
